For Athenaeum schools running both the “library” and “resource” versions of Athenaeum Pro 8.5**, we have made available a revised utility that synchronises borrowers between the two modules. Each Athenaeum site can customise the function of the utility.

There are two ways to run this utility - manually or scheduled on your FileMaker Server.

You choose the fields you want synchronised. The selected fields along with the borrower’s name and contact details are then sent across to the resource borrower list.

Notes:-

• borrowers deleted from the “library” borrower list are not deleted from the “resource” borrower list

• borrowers in the “library” who do not have a bar code are not sent to the “resource” borrower list

• the process only runs from the “library” to the “resource” and not the other way
